The generation who fell for the Hamas rebrand – Part 2

Despite the fact that most of us think of Hamas members as prehistoric Neanderthals who lack any cultural mores or normal societal connection, no one can deny that they are highly sophisticated and schooled in the complex world of finances as well the ins and outs of social media.

For those whose education primarily focused on radical Islam and how to take out their enemies (which comprise most everyone who doesn’t share their extreme beliefs), it’s a wonder how they achieved such advanced levels of technological know-how and finesse in order to serve their nefarious purposes.

As most of us began to closely observe human behavior and development over the past decade or so, it didn’t take long to realize that hearts and minds, especially of youth, are won in the arena of influential social platforms such as TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and so many others. For most young people, those “hang out” spots provide a feeling of inclusion as well as the latest trends which, if known and followed, impress their friends, both virtual and real.

Consequently, anyone who is pushing a product, ideology or movement would utilize this public forum in order to influence thinking and create a shift towards new ideas. But it’s not the only indicator of change. When supported by a progressive educational agenda, which has been promoting both Marxist and Woke ideology, these two juggernauts of brainwashing have been lethal weapons with which even the most diligent of good parents cannot compete. Add to that, the minimal involvement put into raising their kids these days, and it’s no wonder that their minds have been so easily pliable, becoming the fertile ground for delusion and deception.

This is where Hamas comes into the picture. Their emergence onto the stage of victimhood and oppression was perfectly timed and coordinated to affect a receptive generation that eagerly bought into the rebranding of evil, turning it into false virtue and honor. It was on a recent episode of Life, Liberty & Levin, that political commentator and Intellectual, Victor Davis Hanson said, “This generation is so self-righteous, defaming prior generations which are now dead.”

Ripe for the pickings, today’s young people have been carefully curated to see things in a way that has fed into their deliberate indoctrination which bolsters and advances violating the law, despising tradition, holding sound judgment, including biblical wisdom, in contempt and viewing it with scorn. Instead, they prefer to champion criminals, view terrorism as the struggle of freedom fighters and ignore the barbaric means that are being implemented, because all is permissible when it comes to their brand of justice.

The willful ignorance that diversity of thought, sexual orientation or any other new-fangled social construct, of the last few years, is totally rejected and punished by radical Islamic terrorists, remains a minor detail that is brushed aside. So, they continue to back the same savages who would chop them up into bite-size morsels if given the opportunity.

Those are the sad facts. Our youth have gone astray in a direction that favors anarchy and turns its back on reason and sanity. Of course, this was bound to happen as parents outsourced their supervision to those who looked upon this generation as assets who could facilitate their goals once they were able to unify their thinking, as a bloc, rather than individuals. On that front, they used social media platforms to further their group propaganda. It worked! And that is why Hamas is being hailed as the hero while Israel is being accused of genocide.

The term “useful idiots” refers to “a person perceived as propagandizing for a cause – particularly a bad cause originating from a devious, ruthless source – without fully comprehending the cause’s goals, and who is cynically being used by the cause’s leaders. In this case, an entire generation of Gen Z’ers has been targeted for this role and, without, knowing the full extent to which they are cynically being used. They have become a critical component in legitimizing the destruction that is being played out and excused by youth who have no solid moral compass or working conscience.

Are they lost in perpetuity? Can they ever be restored to differentiate good from evil and recognize those who despise them as much as they’ve been conditioned to use hatred and intolerance as weapons against the war against freedom and liberty? That largely depends upon the first large-scale attack on American soil, because the moment that terror hits indiscriminately, killing sympathizers and supporters, that is when this generation might suddenly realize that they’ve been rooting for the wrong team.

We saw this happen in Israel on Oct. 7 when the strongest advocates of Palestinian rights and dignity were brutally murdered along with everyone else. It was a moment of truth for many left-leaning supporters, who did the bidding of Hamas, without realizing that they, too, would be caught up in gratuitous terror attacks whose perpetrators didn’t stop to ask questions.

Regrettably, that is no time to find out that you backed the wrong horse. But we may be much closer to that horrifying revelation which will, undoubtedly, be a game changer in world opinion, necessitating everyone to take a second look at what they believed was a righteous cause, not to mention trendy.

Unfortunately, tragic events often return us to a place of needed sanity where everything must be re-evaluated and reconsidered. Such a reckoning is coming, because the one thing we know about evil is that it spreads and festers until someone is willing to do whatever it takes to put an end to its catastrophic deeds. It is only then that everything comes to light, revealing what refused to be seen when the deception was in full swing.

Perhaps, the most important factor to recognize is that this generation, more than any previous one, needs to be part of something in order to feel validated. While that’s true of most people, to some extent, it usually is not at the cost of ignoring common sense and turning off a conscience which often works as a safety net to protect us from whatever is trying to harm us.

In order for this generation to be useful to others, as well as themselves, they must reject the notion that individual thought is defective and inferior in some way. They must be challenged to see things as they are and act on them regardless of what anyone else will say. Because it’s the only way that they will ever be whole, authentic people who cease being the useful idiots of those who care nothing for them but only see them as a means to an end in their goal to destroy everything.

Without their help, Hamas will rightly be recognized for the brutal killers that they are!
